I'm back in action! The meditation course was a really good experience. That was actually the third time I've done it, and they seem to get easier. But no less beneficial. We'll see how it manifests in my life. If anyone is curious about what I did, here are a couple links:

I want to give a HUGE thanks to Anthony for filling in for me these last eleven days! Everyone give him a big round of applause! It was a great pleasure to come back and see each and every comic he made. How about starting a regular web comic yourself there Mr. Anthony?
Also, thank you to Patrick for drawing yesterday's comic. I'm still ruminating on its deep themes of homosexuality, mother-son relationships, and the vulnerability one feels when packing groceries into a car.

I found a whole case of about 12 cds on the side of the road today, so I picked it up and listened to one while drawing. Its badness inspired me to draw this.

As I said yesterday, I'm going to a ten-day meditation course tomorrow, so this is my last comic for a while. This particular comic feels kind of like a summary of all the comics I've done since December when I started. Maybe that's not true. But suffering is very funny, and that seems like the basis of almost every comic I've made.
Drawing a daily comic for this site has been a really really really really good experience and I'll probably miss it immensely over the next eleven days. But my dear friend Anthony will be filling in during that time, so keep on checking the site even though I'm gone because there will still be updates every day! I look forward to coming back and seeing eleven comics here which I did not make.
