I'm digging this one. These comics have been a challenge lately. I get too tense about it and it takes forever to draw and I don't like them and I worry I'm falling into patterns and telling the same jokes over and over again. This one I just busted out in about 20 minutes, which is the way to go.

I've realized there tends to be a lot of masochism in my comics. Does anyone want to give me a psychological analysis based solely on my comics, you know, for fun? Do I have contempt for my characters? Do I seem like a negative person?

I've started using a nib and it is so ENJOYABLE. I've never really enjoyed drawing before but the process of dipping the nib in the ink bottle and making scratchy little lines on bristol board is, like, the best.
